My wife booked me a trip with a AAA Charters for a surprise for my birthday and I was not dissapointed. I have fished for course fish (mainly Carp) most of my life but fancied trying my hand at sea fishing and Pete soon had me hooking into some Cod. Pete is a very experienced fisherman and skipper and I would definately recommend him to others and will be booking another trip in the near future.

Various dates - We have had some fantastic days out with Pete and have caught a variety of fish including Skate, Cod, Whiting, Smooth Hounds and Rob's favourite Dog Fish ha, ha !! Pete is a very experienced Skipper and one of our most memorable moments is Pete showing Rob how to hold a Dog Fish, which resulted in Pete being promptly bitten! Pete is keen to please and will move to find fish. The only reason why we have not booked any trips lately is due to the inclement weather. Pete was also very sympathetic when Tracey started to suffer from sea sickness on one trip, which is more than can be said of Rob. Pete is very helpful and assists when necessary or when asked and supplies ample tea, coffee and biscuits.

We hear the Cod are back so we will be booking another trip very soon.

Trip out Saturday 19th November
Great day out fantastic weather great sport great laugh and top skipper.
Pete was extremely helpful to the novice numpty fishermen aboard and there were no tears from people not catching on the day.
Thanks for the coffee and biscuits but perhaps you could get the Latté machine going next time lol.
Looking forward to booking again.

Finally got our first trip out with Pete who couldn't have been more helpful throughout the day, putting us straight on the fish from the start, helping to bait up, giving info on how to fish, unhooking, supplying tea, coffee and biccies etc which made our day very enjoyable. Finished the day with a dozen sizeable codling to take home, 1 big pouting and numerous whiting and dogfish. Couldn't recommend highly enough, will hope to go out again in the spring for some more cod. Thanks again Pete, From Neil, Emma, Jan and Mark

September 24th

On our 4th (and free!) trip with Pete, we decided to pay a little extra and fish off distant Orfordness to try for some early cod. With 20 plus knots, we were soon fishing and first drop, I took a nice thornback weighing nearly 7lb and with three of us fishing we took a total of 13 thornbacks to 8lb and one blonde ray about 5lb. Dogfish were too numerous to mention plus a good amount of whiting. Yours truly caught 7 skate including the blonde ray, The weather was fanastic and Pete was as usual a great host, with tea and biscuits all day. For the record, all the fish were put back, save two thornback. We look forward with relish to our trips later this year. Great boat, excellent skipper.

Saturday July 30th 2011

Our 3rd trip with Pete, after a couple of cancellations through the damn weather! We went straight out to the tower and soon started to catch many dogfish and a good number of sizeable smooth-hounds, the latter giving great sport on light tackle. These were followed with a couple of skate and whiting. As the tide slackened, I had something big on (true!) which managed to cut the trace very close to the boat! Whether coincidence or not, within a few seconds, a small porpoise broke surface astern then disappeared, as did the bites! Nevertheless, we had a great day and as always Pete was ever helpful and kept us topped up with tea, coffee and biscuits whilst trying his hardest to find fish. Can't wait for the cod season!

We had a tough days fishing, trying to get any bait past the dog fish was almost impossible, but Peter tried a couple of spots and we managed 1 small codling, some small whiting, a nice Skate of 7lb (female so we returned her to become a mum) and shed loads of pesky dogs.. Had a great day out with Pete, the banter was plentiful as were the cups of tea. looking forward to another trip out on the Amino soon.

This was our first trip out with pete and i can honestly say it will not be our last. The first mark he took us to was very slow almost non productive so he suggested a move and we are glad we did. With in minutes of dropping the baits down we had some good codling coming aboard and this was followed by 3 nice Thornback rays. We found Pete to be very helpful and informative and a very keen skipper of a very clean and very neat little fishing boat.

Our second trip with Pete proved more productive than our December outing.Just the three of us finished the day with a couple of codling (none for me I might add!) and plenty of whiting, some of which were good size, plus the odd pouting. With such a fast boat we had absolutely loads of fishing time, departing at 7am and lifting our lines at 4.30pm. The added bonus was the fantastic weather, one of those real halcyon days with barely a breath of wind, glassy sea and continuous sunshine, not forgetting the cups of tea and biscuits provided by Pete all day long! Excellent boat and skipper, can't wait for the next trip.

went out with pete sunday 20th and had the best trip out fishing i have had in a long time. he made me an my mates very welcome and couldnt help us any more than he did. the tea was flowing on the boat all day and so was the fish. we had our first fish in minutes from casting the first rod. many thanx pete for having us there again we will be seeing u very soon again

Went out for our second trip with pete, had a fantastic day again. yet again pete was spot on with where to fish. i would recommend pete and his services to everybody who enjoys fishing. will booking our 3rd trip very soon. thanks again pete for an ace day. see you very soon.

Well the 5 of us had a great day aboard with Pete, Excellent Skipper nothing was to much trouble for him, copius amounts of Tea all day unfortunately fish weren,t playing ball but we weren,t expecting much as fishing been slow to say the least lately we did end up with a few small whiting but we WILL defo be going out with Pete again, I highly recommend him to anyone thinking about Boat Trips

This was our first trip with Pete having met him at the Suffolk show in the summer. After all the snow the weather couldn't have been more perfect and our expectations were high. As often happens though, the fish were not accommodating. After some 6 hours fishing and numerous moves, we only had one small whiting to show for our efforts! Pete did everything he could, not least with his friendly help and advice and more cups of tea and coffee and biscuits than I care to mention. However, we are not deterred, and after a couple of welcome beers in the Shipwreck pub, we agreed that we have found a skipper worth his salt, with a boat so fast it can maximize your fishing time. We will definitely book again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Amino.

Fished with Peter today aboard Amino. The fishing was a bit slow at times so we moved
around looking for the fish a couple of times. We ended our day with a few Cod to take home
Peter is a great skipper with loads of helpfull advice. Plenty of hot drinks to keep us warm
We will be booking again very soon.

went out with pete for our very first boat trip, pete was incredibly helpful. The fishing was a little slow to begin with but it picked up and we all finished with some very nice cod. Had an absolutely fantastic day and will booking up again in the near future. Very highly recommended. Pete is a top skipper.

went out today with pete and had a great day. was a friendly atmosphere. i went out with two other people and between us we dont have much experience so pete was very helpful and suportive. we had a slow start to the day but after a few hours the fish started to show and is was a great day alround.

26th of november.Had a wonderful days fishing with pete,caught 24 codling up to the four pound mark which made great sport. To add to that we also had half a dozen cracking whiting between one and two pounds! Over all a super days fishing with a highly experienced skipper who made the day comfortable and even more enjoyable! I will definately be aboard the amino in the near future,and would strongly recommend pete and his services to any keen angler! many thanks.

Went out on Saturday 20th November. Cracking days fishing, at least 25 fish caught with plenty of keepers, including a 12 and a halve pound cod!! Can certainly recommend AAA charters, Pete was a great help if your not sure of how to do anything! Plenty of banter and generally a really good day out. Thanks again Pete!!

Great days fishing only 2 of us plus the skipper and had a cracking days fishing including several Cod upto 17lb, Skipper pete was spot on (Thank you!), I would fully recomend to all friends and family. Next week 4 of us are going, So with any luck we will have another great catch.
